Growing up between France and Portugal sparked a love of travel and cultural discovery in me from a young age. After earning a master degree in journalism and communication, which taught me how to create content for digital media, I felt the urge to seek out adventure and self-discovery. I bought a one-way ticket to Sydney, Australia, the most remote place I knew, and set out on a journey of personal
growth.
The Big Move
After adjusting to life in Sydney and learning English, I began working at the Porsche Melbourne dealership, where I discovered a passion for the digital world and was responsible for photographing and adding used vehicles to the website to assist the sales team.
This opportunity led to an even bigger adventure in New Zealand, where I worked at one of the most prestigious luxury garages in the southern hemisphere. My responsibilities included overseeing the transportation of high-end vehicles from around the world and managing the marketing and advertising efforts to drive sales. This exciting journey allowed me to develop a unique set of skills and expertise in the luxury automotive industry.

The Moment of Thruth
My background in the luxury car industry allowed me to cultivate a strong appreciation for beauty, aesthetics, refinement, and attention to detail. These skills were valuable when I joined a company in Toronto that provided digital solutions to dealerships across the United States and Canada. From site design and marketing to content creation and SEO, I helped implement modern strategies to drive sales for our clients, always prioritizing functionality, aesthetics, and attention to detail. My experience and expertise allowed me to deliver top-quality products that helped our clients achieve success.
I had the opportunity to travel to the United States to learn how to build websites from start to finish, and I was able to use this knowledge to deliver finished products that are highly functional, aesthetically pleasing, and fully responsive. For more than four years, I worked for this company, both in the Toronto office and as a freelance web designer due to the pandemic. My ability to balance my passion for travel with my work and love of design allowed me to continue exploring the world while also building a successful career in web design.
The Freelance Experience
During my travels, I met many people who were interested in my work and needed assistance with web design, logos, or creative materials for their businesses. I started taking on side projects to meet these needs and found myself working with a diverse range of clients in sectors such as cooking, restaurants, wine, beauty, sports, e-commerce, and health blogs.
This allowed me to expand my skills and experience in a variety of industries. Throughout my various work tasks, I have gained proficiency with a variety of tools and platforms, including WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Photoshop, Adobe, Figma, Canva, HTML, CSS, and SEO. I have also gained experience in digital marketing practices, social media advertising, and data analysis. These skills have allowed me to deliver high-quality products and effectively support the needs of my clients.
I have always dedicated myself to continuous learning and have enrolled in a variety of online and hands-on trainings to broaden my knowledge of the digital ecosystem. I believe that as a freelancer, it is important to stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in order to provide high-quality services to my clients. I am constantly seeking out new opportunities to learn and grow, both in my
professional and personal life. This allows me to bring a fresh perspective and a wealth of expertise to each project I work on.
