1. Who is responsible for your data
This website is the personal portfolio of Nicolas De Almeida, Technical Project Manager and Product Manager. He is the data controller for any personal data collected through it. You can reach him through the contact form or on LinkedIn.
2. What data is collected
When you send a message through a contact form on this site, the following is collected:
- Your full name and email address
- Your company or project name, if you choose to give it
- The type of help you selected and the content of your message
- The page the form was sent from
Like most websites, the hosting provider also records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used only to deliver the site securely and is not used to identify you.
3. Why it is used
Your contact details and message are used for one purpose: to read your request and reply to you, including any follow-up conversation about a possible project or collaboration.
The legal basis is the steps you ask to be taken before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data is never sold, never used for advertising and you will not be added to any mailing list.
4. Who can see it
Only Nicolas De Almeida reads the messages sent through this website. The site and its forms are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which stores form submissions on his behalf and may process data in the United States. Netlify acts as a processor and is bound by its data processing terms. You can read Netlify’s privacy policy for details.
Your data is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.
5. How long it is kept
Messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and follow up on your request, and no longer than two years after our last exchange. They are then deleted. If we start working together, the data needed to manage that work is kept for as long as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the data held about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Have your data deleted
- Restrict or object to its use
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your request at any time
To use any of these rights, send a request through the contact form or on LinkedIn. You will receive an answer within one month. If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or with the authority in your own country.
8. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated if the website changes, for example if a new tool is added. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version.
